On December 27th, 2007, the world lost one of the most captivating leaders of our time.Benazir Bhutto was a true role model for leadership – a champion for a brighter future for Pakistan and a symbol of courage in the face of adversity. Even more than that, she was a warm and compassionate woman who was a dear friend to many, including us at Linkage. Throughout the 12 years of our Global Institute for Leadership Development (GILD), Benazir Bhutto had joined us as a speaker on numerous occasions. Recently, we had the honor of working with Ms. Bhutto on a contribution to our upcoming book entitled, Why Lead? Her story and the wisdom she shares are so inspirational that we wanted to share them with you now as a tribute to this great leader.
